In this part, you will find the most recent techniques, devices and technologies that have been shaping the education owing to diverse factors that demand a change in our way of teaching and relating to the knowledge in the classrooms.

I (Jesus) consider that the fast advancement of technology has undoubtedly transformed our world in different ways that influence and someway modify the landscape of education. Consequently, educators, institutions and us, as pre-service teachers, have to adapt and innovate around those changes that society is demanding in our learning and teaching process. Thus, I think that deepening into the most recent techniques, devices and technologies is crucial to staying aligned with those changes, and to project our practicum processes with the new high tech skills that students are expected to deploy in their contexts. By learning and understanding these tools, we can create more interactive, personalized, and effective learning experiences in our classes.

Furthermore, I strongly believe that that getting into the aforementioned topic allow us to analyse that applying all these ideals in our teaching process could be tough due to the quantity of external and internal factors that will slow down the application of these approaches to education.Nonetheless, at the same time, it will help us out to reduce and eradicate all the stereotypes and taboos that we have created about technology in our personal contexts, and above all, in the usage of this one in education.

As a teacher in training who values adaptability, empathy, and critical engagement, I see emerging educational technologies such as adaptive learning platforms, mobile learning apps, and immersive tools like AR and VR as transformative. These technologies tailor learning experiences to individual student needs while offering a more personalized, engaging, and equitable education. For instance, adaptive systems adjust the content based on real-time data and they help to ensure that each student progresses at their own pace, while mobile devices allow for learning anytime, anywhere, supporting flexibility.

However, while I am in favor of these advancements, it’s essential to use them critically. Technology should enhance—not replace—human interaction; they can ensure that teachers maintain a central role in guiding students, fostering empathy, and addressing the holistic needs of learners in a way that purely digital solutions cannot. In this order of ideas, it's crucial that we not only introduce students to new technologies but also teach them how to navigate and adapt to these tools effectively. By fostering digital literacy and guiding them in the responsible, critical, and efficient use of technology, we empower students to fully engage with the resources available. Besides, we ensure that they are not just passive users but active participants in their own learning journey.

It is necessary also, to recognize the importance of the new technologies used for education, such as AI, which has increased it's usage in the different academic areas. Even though, it is very helpful, necessarily we need to be aware of the consequences it could have in the learning process. Due to it is emerging and everyone can use it with no filters, we as teachers need to learn and teach how to use it in a proper way, not only for doing homeworks, but also for solving problems with a critical point of view. Therefore, AI could help teachers in the teaching process, that's why it is crucial to have knowledge about it and make it functional without getting into the laziness and the easy way.

Consequently, we need to be aware and conscious about the use of the AI in an academic context, giving our students the opportunity to learn and have new learning experiences with this kind of technologies, taking into account always the critical thinking skills.
